GTA VI: MAJOR GAMEPLAY LEAK HITS THE WEB
Take-Two issues takedowns as a new group pushes leaks, physical media rights, and a strange crypto agenda.
A highly sensitive situation is unfolding around Grand Theft Auto VI. New unauthorized gameplay footage reportedly from an older development build recorded a few years ago has begun spreading massively across the internet.
While many initially suspected the footage was AI-generated, Take-Two Interactive's swift response effectively confirmed its authenticity. Rockstar's parent company is actively issuing DMCA takedown notices across platforms hosting the content to protect their intellectual property.
Note: Not every image or claim circulating right now is real. To protect our community and comply with copyright guidelines, ViceHarbor will not host or directly link to the leaked footage.
WHO IS BEHIND THE LEAK?
The group or individual claiming responsibility goes by the name CYBERLEEK.
They are attempting to frame these leaks as a pro-consumer movement advocating for gamers' rights. Their manifesto touches on the preservation of video games, the importance of physical media, and pushback against purely digital futures a topic that has heavily intensified following Sony's recent announcement to cease PlayStation disc production after January 2028.
THE CRYPTO CONNECTION & SECURITY WARNING
While the physical media debate is a valid community concern, CYBERLEEK's motives are highly questionable. Alongside the leaks, the entity is actively promoting a Solana-based memecoin, claiming the proceeds will fund an undisclosed "project."
Linking a massive game leak to a cryptocurrency push is a massive red flag.
- Do not click suspicious links.
- Do not download unknown files claiming to be the "full leaked video."
- Never connect your crypto wallet to unverified sites.
